Haystack News launching September 11 coverage pop-up channels – IPTV Live Streaming

Free streaming service Haystack News will launch a dedicated pop-up channel with aggregated coverage highlighting the annual commemoration ceremonies of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.

The channel, which runs through September 12, will feature live streams and on-demand video from Haystack News’ content partners, which include ABC News, CBS News, the Associated Press and Newsy. Content will also be provided by local broadcasters who are owned or operated by Cox Media Group, Fox Television Stations, Disney-ABC Television Group, Hearst Television and ViacomCBS, among others.

“Special dedicated pop-up streaming channels are popular options within Haystack News that make it the preferred one-stop platform for breaking news and special events,” Daniel Barreto, the co-founder and chief executive of Haystack News, said in a statement sent on Thursday.

Other pop-ups planned for the month of September include channels focused on the California Recall Election (September 13 to September 15), the Emmy Awards (September 19 to September 21) and a 24-hour concert called “Global Citizen Live (September 25 to September 26) that will be distributed by Haystack News content partner ABC News.

Haystack News is also offering rolling news and highlights from the National Football League following the official start of the football season, with the NFL’s kick-off scheduled for September 9.

Haystack News is available as a free download on a wide variety of streaming platforms, including Apple and Android devices and TV hardware; Roku and Amazon Fire TV streaming devices; on most smart TV sets and via the web at haystack.tv.
